Cabrini (2024) Made by the same studio that made Sound of Freedom, this film takes a look at the life of St. Frances Cabrini, the first canonized American saint in the Catholic Church. On it’s own, it’s an ok movie, with some good but a lot that was very average. As far as a centering around a religious figure, they tried to remove all of the religion associated with the real life person. This was not good in general, and this could’ve been better. Dune: Part Two
Dune: Part Two (2024) This movie had so many expectations, because the first one (Dune: Part One) was a very pretty prequel. In the rare instance of a movie depending on the sequel, this sequel lived up to the hype. And through four years of the 2020s, this is already one of the best. Has the competition been that great? No. If this came out, say, 15 years ago, this would’ve been a solid movie.
